Besides my 3 Parrots I have several bird feeders in my yard. At least once a month a bird flies into a closed window on my house & is either killed of lies there stunned. I have stained glass window ornaments on my windows & slider doors to try to prevent them from flying into the glass but this continues to happen. Any Suggestions?

About ten years ago a very baby goose came in our neigher's garage. We have no water around us and couldn't figure out where it came from. Me being called the "bird lady" by all my neighbors told me to take it home. I called the Human Society and they told me without its mother it would not live. We had it about 3 months until my husband tought it to fly and haven't seen it since. We became very attached to it like it was our dog. We took it camping with us and we got quite a few odd looks f

If the bird cannot be put back into the nest nor left safely anywhere near the nest and is not indiginous to the state you will most likely have to take care of the bird yourself.
I took home a nestling English Sparrow a few years ago & got in touch, online, with the group that does Starlings. They were a great help. The bird did very well and I wound up giving it to a fellow bird club member who raises finches.
