Great article, you guys rock.

I personally take plastic chain 3 ft length and plastic or paper drinking cups and string thru the bottom and fill them with different treats for home made bird toys.

I also take clothes hangers and stretch them from one end to the other and love watchin Kole get to the other side. its hilarious when he tries to go thru them. 

I also take a roll of tp and slide it over his bird cage perch and love watching him climb on it to get to the treats on the other side. of course he loves shredding all his bird toys.

I collect wooden parts from previous bird toys destroyed and reasemble to make him new ones. He also likes the larger paper clips connected to make a chain for him to chew on. 

I would be interested in knowing some of the other and or best suggestion for DIY bird toys from your readers.
