Shipping Options

Orders placed by 1:00 PM CST typically ship within 1-5 business days. We ship from several locations across the United States depending on the items ordered. This will determine shipping time as well.

Note: The number of service days does not include order processing time, and only applies to items shipping from our warehouse.

We offer Fedex and Priority mail. Some shipments that are shipped from facilities other than ours may ship via UPS, USPS, Fedex or freight.

On orders of $49.00 (current promotion) or more in the 48 continental states receive free shipping. If you select Free Shipping, we are unable to offer you the ability to choose the carrier by which your order will be shipped. However, the carriers we use are FedEx, Fedex Smartpost, UPS and the United States Postal Service (USPS). The carrier we choose depends upon your destination and the items in your order.

FedEx Home deliveries are made Tuesday through Saturday between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. UPS deliveries are made Monday through Friday. USPS delivers Monday through Saturday.

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order summary. Orders are subject to verification of payment information by phone or email.

PO Boxes: We cannot ship all of the items we offer to PO Boxes so we have made that choice unavailable. If you absolutely MUST have your purchase sent to a PO Box, then PLEASE call 312-492-9673 (Chicago local) 877-287-0810 Toll Free (Chicago Suburban & Out of State) or email info@windycityparrot.com and we can discuss your options.

Rural Route Box Deliveries: Because the option to ship to PO Boxes is disabled, you cannot enter the word PO BOX into the Ship To Form. Please enter PO BOX as BX only and the form will go through. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you have questions contact us at 312-492-9673 for more details

Wrong Addresses and Redirected Shipments: If you enter the incorrect address and your package is returned to us you are liable for that charge.If you wish the package to be re-delivered to the corrected address you will be charged for change of address as well. Please check your address entry before completing orders. Please do not mix PO Box and street adresses in the check out form assuming we will be able to select one or the other. Gated Communities or Unusual Addresses: If you live in a non attended gated community where the delivery person cannot deliver we are not responsible for the cost of the shipping to the locked gate and back to the shipping facility. Please provide a street address for the delivery or call 312-492-9673 for more details.

Continental United States (not HI or AK) - Free Shipping:
All orders placed that are both over $49.00 and to be shipped within the continental United States (No P.O. Boxes please) will be shipped free of additional charge via our choice of shippers.

Typical transit times for FedEx or UPS is three to five business days, check below for transit time map. USPS Mail travel times varies. Customers may during check out choose USPS Priority Mail and FedEx Home Delivery. Your shipping rate will be calculated based on your orders weight and the delivery location.

Continental United States - Standard Shipping:
Orders with a sum of less than $49.00 are given shipping choices. Typical transit times for FedEx is three to five business days, check below for transit time map. Customers may choose USPS Priority Mail and FedEx Home Delivery. Your shipping rate will be calculated based on your orders weight and the delivery location.

Overnight Shipping Options: Overnight, via FedEx can often be offered if items are in stock if orders are called in by 1 PM CST, PLEASE call 312-492-9673 or (Chicago local) 877-287-0810 Toll Free (Chicago Suburban & Out of State and we can discuss your options.

Alaska & Hawaii & Puerto Rico & Other US Territories: Alaskan, Hawaiian and Puerto Rican customers will be given the shipment options for either United States Postal Service's Priority Mail and FedEx.

Please be aware that some USPS shipping options may take considerably longer to reach their destination due to weather and/or geographical limitations. We have a maximum weight of seventy pounds for all USPS shipments. We reserve the right to refuse to ship items that are especially fragile to locations that we feel will not reach the destination intact.

Canada, Mexico, and all out of US Countries must use BONGO International for check out.

All Other Countries: Customers will be responsible for all broker fees, duties and taxes, no exceptions. We reserve the right to refuse to ship items that are especially fragile to locations that we feel will not reach the destination intact.

Transit time does not include time with customs.

Packages not accepted are considered abandoned.
