The door is on the end of the carrier on all three sizes. The door is almost as large as the end and easy to use. The carrier can be folded up and tucked away in a closet when not needed. Unfolds in 2 minutes. Add a simple bolt on perch and a couple hook or bolt on dishes and you are ready to go. Includes built in grille (non removable), and slide out tray that can be easily accessed without opening up the carrier. Everyone raves about how great these carriers are. And so cheap!! Fabulous!, 3/22/2008 Reviewer: (Longmont, CO) I bought two of these cages about a year ago for my Green Cheek and Sun Conure to travel in. WE went from Maryland to Colorado and back with no problem. The birds absolutely loved them! They were not stressed out at all. This is a horrid picture, but the product is much more attractive and is so easy to put together it's almost silly. They are easy to expand but do not collapse easily, so I have no fear for either one of my babies. I'll be getting the Medium for my Lesser Jardine's (Pickles) soon.
