Parrotopia makes an excellent screw on grooming perch for your small parrot. Sandy Perches are warm to the touch, made with a real wood core, safe wet or dry, not abrasive like many concrete perches but trims nails just as nicely and lasts forever. Extra Mini: 5 1/2" long x 1/2" thick. Mini: 9" long x 1/2" to 3/4" thick. Small: 12" long x 3/4" to 1" thick Medium: 12" long x 1" to 1 1/2" thick Large: 12" long x 1 1/2" to 2" thick Jumbo: 15" long x 2" thick (Actual sizes and colors vary as they are made with a real branch) Please choose a size that your birds nails will not wrap around completely. To be used effectively the nails must be able to rub against the perch. Please do not use grooming perches for sleeping perches. Instead use grooming perches by food and water dishes, inside the front doors and where you bird will and move around to make the best use of the rough surface.
